From June 18th to 20th, 2018, Peninsula hosted 17 European startups from 14 countries in Barcelona for the Access2Europe Discovery Tour.
During three days, the startups got to know the ecosystem and its key players. They visited startup hubs, innovation centers, incubators & accelerators. The participants networked with corporates like Seat, Caixa Bank, Banco Sabadell or Mediapro, chatting about possible collaborations.
Our guests from the Spanish investor community explained the local market and opportunities to the startups. CEO’s of companies, who already successfully established their businesses in the Spanish market, shared their experiences. During active exchanges, our guests connected with each other and shared their challenges and ideas.
Together with our project partners in Tallinn, Paris, and Berlin, we are proud to help bridging ecosystems and to create business opportunities for European startups within Access2Europe. Thanks to the funding of the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 program, we were able to offer startups this unique opportunity free of charge.
